Beethoven meets Sibelius at Leicester Symphony Orchestra’s Spring 2023 concert in March at De Montfort Hall, part of our 101st Season.
A real treat is in store with a great violin concerto played by Emmanuel Bach, who won the 2018 Royal Over-Seas League String Competition and has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at venues such as Wigmore Hall, St George’s Bristol, St Martin-in-the Fields, St James’s Piccadilly and Queen Elizabeth Hall. This will be followed by the expansive Sibelius symphony, with its glorious swan theme and triumphant ending.
